Due to the original and handmade nature of the artwork, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be given on original pieces. All pieces are photographed from different angles to ensure the colours and materials are captured as accurately as possible, however, hues may vary on different screens. If for some reason you feel there is a problem with your item, please email me at email@example.com within 48 hours of delivery and I will do my best to resolve the issue. If applicable, please include an image of the item in your email.
UK and International Shipping:
All items are ready to ship within 4 weeks of purchase. Depending our schedule we may be able to ship these sooner by request, please send an email or make an inquiry via the contact page. All items are shipped 'Signed For' delivery with Royal Mail or by Courier and are estimated to arrive 5-7 business days after shipment. Please allow 3-4 weeks for international orders to arrive. This is just an estimate as individual locations may vary.
All items larger than 12 x 12 inches (30.5 x 30.5 cms) will be removed from the wooden stretcher bars and shipped rolled in a postage tube. Smaller items will be shipped flat. If you would prefer your canvas shipped without the wooden stretcher bars removed please email directly and we will provide an estimate for shipping costs via a courier.
Please note that transit time can differ depending on customs in the receiving country. 'the bird talks' reserves the right to cancel and refund an order due to customs difficulties.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages but will endeavour to ensure items are tracked where possible.

General Terms and Conditions:
1) The Artist retains the copyright of all images on this website 70 years beyond her life.
2) The Artist retains the right, in perpetuity, to use digitally recorded images of any purchased artwork for whatever purpose she chooses, including but not restricted to, the purposes of promotion and creating reproductions based on such images for financial gain.
3) Prints of commissioned works will only be made available with the consent of the purchaser.
4) Whilst every effort shall be made to ensure that the digital images shown on the website are an accurate representation of the original painting, there may be a minor colour differences due to the lighting conditions at the time of photographing and also due to the settings on the screen that the photo is being displayed on.
5) Minor blemishes are considered intrinsic properties of the work of art and do not constitute a significant discrepancy.
6) Any user may sign up to the Newsletter using the forms available at thebirdtalks.com website.
7) You may unsubscribe from the Newsletter at any time by either clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link provided in every newsletter, or by emailing me directly with 'Unsubscribe' written in the email subject line.
8) Customer and user information will only be used for purposes relating to the content of thebirdtalks.com. I may, at times draw attention to other 3rd party products or services if the are deemed to be relevant to the above.
